Kunstavond XL — Rotterdam Art Week

During Rotterdam Art Week, we celebrate the first edition of Kunstavond XL since its relaunch on Thursday, 27 March 2026. From 18:00 to 23:00, Kunstinstituut Melly, V2, WORM, and MaMA open their doors for an evening full of contemporary art, experimentation, and encounters.

The Witte de Withstraat becomes the heart of art in the city, featuring installations, performances, music, and more. In addition, there are Kunstavond tours, where you can learn more about the institutions and the history of the street. Thanks to its central location, there are plenty of options for food and drinks nearby.

Preview - The End is Both Near and Already Here: Prepping for Collective Beginnings

Get a first look at CLiP #7: The Garage School of Prepping Otherwise, before the final event on 28 March. Over six months, Rotterdam-based participants (ages 17–24) explored creative, collective approaches to survival, from food preservation and first aid to movement, LARP, and speculative writing.

During Kunstavond XL, the ground floor will open as a preview space, showcasing freshly installed works: all reflecting participants’ “letters to the future(s) we’re preparing for.” A small info market will also feature publications and materials from the CLiP #7 library.

Note: All live activations, performances, workshops, and discussions happen on Saturday 28 March (13:00–18:00).This is purely a sneak peek!
