Low-Stimulus Visiting Hour at Melly

Live

On 17 January, Kunstinstituut Melly will open one hour earlier for a Low-Stimulus Visiting Hour. This quiet hour is designed for visitors who prefer to experience art in a calm and accessible environment, for example due to sensory sensitivity, stress, fatigue, or concentration challenges.

What to expect

- Fewer visitors in the exhibition spaces

- Dimmed and softer lighting where possible

- No videos or artworks with sound

- A calm atmosphere without group visits or guided tours

- Staff members available for questions or support

Visitors are welcome to explore the exhibitions at their own pace. There is space to sit, rest, or take a break as needed.

This Low-Stimulus Visiting Hour is open to everyone who would benefit from a quieter museum experience.

No registration required.
