Museumnacht 2005

The Museumnacht (‘Museum Night’) public will be able to walk in and out, or indeed watch the screening of the film La Commune (2000) by Peter Watkins in its entirety! In 5 hours and 45 minutes, Watkins reconstructs a key moment in the political history of France, namely the declaration of the Paris Commune following the defeat of the French Army in the Franco-Prussian War (1870-1871).

Also, the exhibitions Life, Once More and One Step Beyond are open until 2 a.m.
