Thijmen Burgerhout

Thijmen Burgerhout is an art teacher from Rotterdam who, through playful interventions, workshops and artworks, invites viewers and participants to reflect on existing norms and values. His work stems from discovery and experience, but above all from simply enjoying the process and getting stuck in. In his workshops, he creates context-specific projects that resonate with the participants and fosters environments where participants are not only encouraged to create something, but are also immersed in a holistic experience.
