Erwin Zimmerman

Erwin Zimmerman, better known as DJ Git Hyper, is a Rotterdam-based DJ and cultural entrepreneur. He rose to prominence as the DJ of the influential hip-hop collective DuvelDuvel, helping shape the group’s raw and playful sound in the late 1990s and 2000s. Beyond his role in the crew, Zimmerman is the founder of Demonfuzz Records, a celebrated Rotterdam record store specializing in vinyl and underground music culture. His dual legacy as a performer and record shop owner reflects his deep roots in both hip-hop and the wider musical landscape of the city.
