Elijah Rhode

Elijah Rhode (Afro-German) is Development & Research Assistant at Kunstinstituut Melly. Born in Berlin and raised between Berlin and Johannesburg. Currently based in Rotterdam, he holds a bachelor’s degree in International Business from The Hague University of Applied Sciences, and a certificate in Art and Economics from Christie’s Education.

Before joining Kunstinstituut Melly, Elijah worked in retail at Comme des Garçons, interned at Lehmann Maupin gallery in Seoul and architecture studio Werk5 in Berlin, and modelled at some fashion weeks. Chances are you might run into him getting falafel in Rotterdam Noord, or at skatepark Westblaak.
