Jeroen Lavèn

Jeroen Lavèn (NL, 1990) serves as the Community Relations & Operations Manager at Kunstinstituut Melly, where his journey began as an intern in PR & Communication in 2016. Over the years, he progressed through various roles, including Social Media and Website Assistant, PR & Social Media Editor, and PR & Communications Manager, ultimately taking on his current position. He manages and maintains the building, coordinates exhibitions, and fosters community relations, overseeing a dedicated team and working closely with tenants and external stakeholders to create a dynamic cultural environment.

As a board member of BIZ Witte de Withkwartier, Jeroen works alongside fellow entrepreneurs and stakeholders to strengthen the district's economic vitality and shared public space. Together, they aim to keep the Witte de Withkwartier a vibrant, inclusive, and welcoming destination for businesses, residents, and visitors alike.

Additionally, Jeroen is a Board Member at Kunstblock, a collective of contemporary art institutions in Rotterdam's art quarter. His seven years of experience as the PR & Communications Coordinator for Kunstblock have provided him with valuable insights into promoting collaborative efforts and enhancing the visibility of cultural events.

Through his company, Visuology, Jeroen specializes in contemporary digital communications, aiming to make art more accessible and engaging.
