Simon Mensger
Simon Mensger (DE, 1999) is studying a double degree in (de)Fine Art at the Willem de Kooning Academy and Arts and Culture at the Erasmus University in Rotterdam. His own artistic practice is based on photography and painting, experimenting with aesthetics inspired by artists such as Wolfgang Tillmans and Andreas Gursky. His scientific and artistic research focuses on the accessibility of culture and the distribution of cultural consumption. One of his main focuses is tackling the question of how to enable low-threshold access to cultural institutions.
