Workshop: Convesation on paper​

What happens when a drawing becomes a conversation? Conversations on paper is a workshop by Ainhoa Eslava, Regina Korkovelou and Pavlos Theodorou, that explores creation and drawing as a collaborative practice. The workshop is based on the idea that no matter how hard we try to copy something, it never ends up being identical to the original piece, and therefore this practice emphasizes the uniqueness of each person’s perception. Specifically, in a variety of combinations, we are going to create groups in which we will make drawing proposals in rotations, to create polyptych drawings that will consist of similar but not identical pieces. Simultaneously, we are going to create a space to discuss how drawing, often considered an individual act, can actually transform into a collective activity, and how this methodology can be applied to other forms of artistic creation as well.
