Ellen Nieuwenhuis
Ellen Nieuwenhuis is a legal professional with extensive and broad experience in a variety of legal roles. She began her career as an attorney in Rotterdam. After working in private practice for 12 years, she has served as a public prosecutor since 2009. Ellen has held this position within the Public Prosecution Service in several areas of criminal law and at various departments, and she currently works as a public prosecutor at the National Prosecutor’s Office. She has also gained administrative experience through roles in civil society, for example, with the Open Monument Day Foundation Rotterdam. Ellen combines her legal expertise with a strong societal and administrative profile.
