Alexandra Galateia Tsolou

I am a multidisciplinary artist and stylist based in the Netherlands.  Based on my experiences as an emotional caretaker, my artistic practice explores the theme of identity through family histories, childhood, gender roles and neurodiversity. Working across painting, textiles, video, collage and garments she uses visual storytelling to illustrate memories of caretaking while addressing inequalities towards disability and gender. 

For me having a body affected by technology is losing some control and self development with ourselves by relying on digital tools.
