Tlotliso Skefu

Tlotliso Skefu is a Johannesburg-based biochemistry and physiology graduate, drag king, t-shirt designer, and nascent DJ. They perform and DJ as ‘Ntate Lapse’ with Jozi Kings and Things, a collective who see drag as a politicised medium for solidarity and queer expression, and who have co-produced two full length productions, several collaborations and workshops. They recently began to design and produce t-shirts under the label A Faded Tag, and as a primary collaborator of the After Library, are interested in working with queer fiction and Southern African histories of movement and displacement.
