Activity inspired by the work of Paulo Nimer Pjota: A Lua e AU (The Moon and I)
Visitors are invited to interact with Paulo Nimer Pjota’s layered paintings through creative observation and imagination. Activities include silent contemplation, guided drawing, storytelling, and even group rap-making. Participants are encouraged to invent myths, imagine new worlds, and pay close attention to recurring symbols like cosmic eggs, vases, and dragons. The exercises foster both solo focus and collaborative play, offering many ways to dive into the visual richness of the exhibition.
Activity inspired by the work of Ola Hassanain: The Watcher
This set of activities invites visitors to engage with themes of climate change, memory, and migration through careful observation, imagination, and reflection. From drawing what you see in a mound of clay, to writing a poem based on an Arabic phrase on the wall, participants are encouraged to connect personal experiences to objects, sounds, and materials in the space. Group exercises like memory games and storytelling foster interaction and offer playful ways to explore deeper ideas.
