Internship Research and Programs
Kunstinstituut Melly is looking for internship candidates in our area of Research and Programs. Do you have an active, hands-on attitude, as well as a passion for contemporary art and theory? Then you might be the one we’re looking for.
We offer paid internships of 3 to 4 days per week with a minimum of 4 consecutive months and a maximum of 6 consecutive months, starting in September 2023, preferably continuing through until January or February 2024.
This internship focuses upon our long-term research projects, event programs, podcast, and special initiatives that connect art and education. During the internship you will have the opportunity to develop skills in the area of contemporary art research, project management, and programs curating, along with key administrative and team-work skills.
Our Research and Programs Intern should have;
- an educational background in art history, curatorial or critical studies, or equivalent relevant experience;
- advanced organizational skills;
- strong writing skills;
- fluency in English and preferably Dutch;
- interest in contemporary art and theory in international dialogues (a must);
- preferably residence in Rotterdam.
